Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was quite expensive, but the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. I loved the spa outfits they provided for everyone. However, some may find the price a bit high for what's offered.
The hotel rooms are spacious and boast a lovely outdoor bath on the balcony, although some areas feel a bit worn and the carpets could be cleaner. The service is top-notch, with kind and helpful staff offering explanations in English and providing a mini-market for convenience. The location is raised and offers easy access to Mount Hakone, Lake Ashi, and the Odaka Museum of Art, despite being somewhat confusing initially. The dining experience immerses you in Japanese culture, but the lack of Western options might not suit all preferences. The facilities are well-equipped, though furniture arrangement in the rooms could be improved.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms are modern and beautiful, with an open-air bath on the balcony that was simply amazing. The service was fantastic, with helpful English guides for the onsen and a very kind staff that made my stay enjoyable. While the location is somewhat remote, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I found my way around. The dining experience, although featuring lots of cold and pickled food which might not be for everyone, was decent. Overall, a great value for the price with wonderful facilities.
